Additional standard options include torque vectoring by braking, downhill brake control, hill-start assist control, and drive mode select. Exterior color options include chalk white, lime twist, pulse red, sonic silver, surf blue, thunder gray, and ultra black. The new model will also have sunset orange as an option.
There are four trim levels available: SE, SEL, Limited, and Ultimate. The 2019 Hyundai Kona comes standard with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that generates 147 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
