The future is here. In the hit “Back to the Future Part II,” Marty McFly paid a visit to the year 2015 where he saw things like hoverboards, flying cars and self-lacing shoes. Of course now that 2015 is here, its looks like we’re still a couple years off from flying cars, but we do have some great features that McFly would have loved. Take, for example, the Hyundai Blue Link app, which will have Android Wear support in early 2015.
With this app, you will be able to start or stop your new Hyundai model’s engine in addition to flashing the lights, locking or unlocking the doors, find your car with GPC, honk the horn, call roadside assistance, and call Blue Link. Not impressed yet? Well, what if we told you you can do this all with simple voice commands? With your voice-activated device, all you have to do is say to your phone or your Android watch “start my car,” and your car will start. Though a flying car would be pretty cool right now, we think the futuristic technology Hyundai keeps showcasing would make McFly jealous.
The Blue Link smartwatch app will be compatible with all Hyundai models that have the Blue Link software, which is starting from the 2012 Hyundai Sonata through today’s models.
We are so excited for this futuristic feature that Hyundai will be offering, and we cannot wait for you to try it out on one of our new Hyundai models. Whether you want the 2015 Hyundai Elantra or another one of our great vehicles, we are sure you will love this feature.
