The more we hear about the 2015 Hyundai Sonata here at Kearny Mesa Hyundai, the more excited we are to welcome it onto our lot. We are expecting to get this great model soon here, but with everything we are hearing, it may be hard to keep them on our lot since we think it will be a very popular option for drivers.
Safety was a big priority for the 2015 Hyundai Sonata. This model will come standard with seven airbags. That will include a new driver’s knee airbag to help prevent the driver from sliding down the seat in the event of an accident, which will help the other restraint systems in the car to be more effective. It will also have many available safety features such as Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alerts, a Lane Departure Warning System and Blind Spot Detection.
The 2015 Hyundai Sonata will also have a more refined look with a stiffer body structure, reduced noise, reduced vibration, and better ride quality. This model will also have more advanced convenience features. As for the engine, the first three trim levels will be powered by a 2.4 liter Theta II GDI four-cylinder engine with an Electronic Intake Continuously Variable Valve Timing system that puts out 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. The last trim level will have a 2.0 liter Theta II turbocharged GDI with E-CVVT that puts out 245 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
We will have the 2015 Hyundai Sonata soon here at our San Diego Hyundai dealership, and we invite you in to see it here as soon as we get it.
